Mt. Juliet eyes 100 acres for new Park
Mt. Juliet may soon acquire 100 acres of much needed park land.
Mayor Linda Elam has expressed interest in the former site of the Easter Seals Campground located on the North side of Mt. Juliet on the shore of Old Hickory Lake.
The park is accessible from Benders Ferry rd. just past Benton Harbor and Cedar Creek Yacht Club.
The property is priced at $8.5 million.
The city officials are scheduled to tour the site at 2 PM today.
