Nashville Home prices defy National trend

This mornings Nashville Tennessean reported that homes prices have remained steady in middle Tennessee despite the price roll backs now being seen across the US.

The median price of a home in NAshville in December was $187,900.  That is an increase of almost 2% from December of 2006 when the median price was $184,562.

It should be noted that the median price of a home in the USA is currently $210,000.  making Nashville homes a bargain at 15% below the national average.
